North Tyneside Brass in Schools is an initiative of North Tyneside Music Education Hub. Welcome to North Tyneside Brass in Schools!
We have been set up by the North Tyneside Music Education Hub in association with Backworth Colliery Band and local Schools. We run after-school and lunchtime brass groups in Primary and Middle Schools, and plan to establish Youth Brass Bands in High Schools to give children the opportunity to continue to play and develop beyond Primary School age.
