Continuing on from my previous video last week about quick fix programs that promise 6 pack abs in 6 weeks…
Here are 3 more reasons why quick fix programs that promise outrageous results don’t work…
4. **Individual Variability:** Everyone’s body is different. A one-size-fits-all approach might not work for everyone due to differences in mindset, body composition, and genetics.
5. **Muscle Loss:** Due to the severe calorie restriction the chances of dropping muscle mass increases. This is counterproductive when it’s the driving force to our metabolism. The very thing we need to reduce body fat!
6. ** Glycogen Depletion: Carbohydrates are stored in the body as glycogen, which binds to water. When you drastically reduce your calories through carbohydrate intake, your body uses up glycogen stores, releasing the bound water. This leads to the initial rapid weight loss, but once normal eating resumes, the water weight returns.
