What an amazing event today at The Glasshouse. The choir have worked so hard on their performances and did us all proud. They had the best time celebrating the World Cup and waving their individual flags with other schools from Gateshead. Thank you to our parents for coming along and supporting the children. It really does mean the world to the staff and to the children. ๐ถ๐ค๐โฝ๏ธ

A truly wonderful insight into the life of a refugee during our assembly this morning. Aget, a Syrian refugee, shared his experiences with our children in a video. It was lovely to hear first hand about his journey from Syria to Germany and about his new life with his wife and child. Thank you Mr Macgregor for organising this with our CAFOD club who led us in prayer this morning.

Year 3 had a great end to careers week today. They came to school dressed as the profession they want when theyโre older, and there was an amazing range of excellent jobs on show. In the afternoon they had the treat of learning what itโs like to be an author and editor from Ms Robinson. She told them how to write a short story and edit it, before designing their front cover.
