🎓 Graduation season at Kids Planet!

Over the past few weeks, our nurseries have been celebrating our Pre-School children as they prepare for their next big step into school.
Throughout their time with us, our teams have supported them as they’ve grown in confidence, developed their independence and built the skills they need for school and beyond.

From graduation ceremonies and parties to special activities and keepsakes, our teams have put lots of thought and care into making these celebrations special for children and their families.

🏅☀️ We've had amazing Sports Days across many of our wonderful nurseries over the past few weeks! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💚

From exciting races and obstacle courses to lots of cheering, teamwork and a little healthy competition, our children have had the best time celebrating together. 🎉👏

Led by our trained sports coaches and enthusiastic nursery teams, Sports Day helps children build confidence, develop key physical skills and discover just how much fun being active can be. Every child is encouraged to get involved, give it their best, support their friends and enjoy every moment. 🌟💚

We're delighted to be opening the doors to Kids Planet Sandymoor this September.

Our brand-new, purpose-built nursery in Runcorn has been thoughtfully designed to give children the very best start, with inspiring learning environments, spacious outdoor play areas, nutritious chef-prepared meals and our nature-based Udeskole approach to learning.

The nursery will provide 128 childcare places and create 44 new jobs, supporting even more local families with high-quality early years education and care and supporting our community.

We're looking forward to welcoming families to our launch event on Saturday 5th September, where you'll have the opportunity to explore the nursery, meet the team and discover everything Kids Planet Sandymoor has to offer.

Today is International Friendship Day! 💙

Our nurseries are filled with wonderful friendships every day, from the special bonds our little ones create with each other to the meaningful connections they build with our caring teams.

Our staff also form amazing friendships with one another, working together to create a warm, supportive and happy environment where everyone feels valued. 🥰

World Cup Day ⚽️

Today at nursery, we celebrated the world cup by having a football themed party tea. The children enjoyed a picnic style tea with selection of finger foods. During the day we discussed how we live in England and England were playing tonight. We all made a wish for England to win!

This week our Pre School children have been focusing on healthy eating. We read the story of 'The Hungry Catapillar', taking part in different activities surrounding the story. In the garden, the children were invited to try and taste different fruits from the story just like the Hungry Caterpillar.🐛🍎🍓🍊🍐

This week in the Pre school room, the children have been focusing on road safety. In the garden, the children took it in turns to ride the bikes and cars around the track, stopping at the 'STOP' signs and continuing at the 'GO' signs.🚙🚲

The children have been exploring their sense of self as we talked about how everyone is different and unique. The children in the Toddler room all joined in with looking at themselves in the mirror before creating their own self portrait. We talked about and recognised our own features such as the colour of out eyes and hair.😊

As part of National Tea day our Preschool children took part in a " Tiger who came to tea" themed tuff tray. Some of the children brought their own tigers in for the activity and they listened to the story as they found different items the tiger had ate. Some of the children said " the tigers very hungry" and " I like orange juice and cake"

In celebration of 'National Tea Day' the children took part in different activities surrounding the topic. We also had discussions about poverty and sense of community such as our food bank collections. We finished off the afternoon with a tea party where the children enjoyed a party tea with their friends.

In celebration of 'International Nurses Day' the Pre School children explored different activities surrounding the topic. The children practiced putting bandages on the dolls as well as joining in with conversations, learning new words and phrases.
