Hello everyone, it's been a minute!

After taking some time out of tutoring to focus on a new role at school, I have decided to return to tutoring. I have already began tutoring a number of students and it has been so lovely to get back into the swing of things! I love having the opportunity to tutor such fantastic children and work with their brilliant parents!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all my family, friends and amazing clients for their support over the past year. I didn't know what to expect when launching my tutoring business but it has been a fab year (work wise). I am very lucky to get to teach so many brilliant children and work with fantastic parents. 🌟 Meet the teacher 🌟

Hi my name is Hannah Taylor 👋

📍I am based in and around Newcastle Upon Tyne, however I also tutor online.

👩‍🏫 I am a qualified primary school teacher and have been teaching for 4 years. I completed my NQT year as a Year 1 teacher, then went into supply work tutoring both in schools and privately. I tutor primary school English, Phonics and Math.

➕ My favourite lesson to teach is Math because it can create so many interesting discussions. When I was at school I really disliked math so it is amazing to help children who struggle as I did.

🎨 I try to make lessons as engaging and interactive as I can. Where possible I make sure lessons are practical so children can be creative.

🐾 My favourite things to do when I'm not teaching are to walk my crazy Beagle puppy, spend time with my friends/family and travel 🛩 🥾⛰

Today we had Hula Hannah helping us with our maths. 🏝🌺

Bringing learning to life. This week we made number bond clouds to help my tutees practice their number bonds to 10. 🌈🌟

We had lots of fun this week playing beat the teacher, using shapes to make pictures and practicing our spellings in unusual ways. We even had Stitch help us learn a new sound. 🤩🌟
