It was a fabulous few final weeks for Year 6 with their play, assembly and leavers festival. We will miss this brilliant cohort so much and wish them lots of luck in their new schools.

🧑‍🎓 Nursery Graduation 🧑‍🎓

Wow, what an end to this amazing Nursery Year!
Yesterday we hosted our Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2026 and then sadly had to say goodbye to our lovely friend and colleague, Mrs Quigley who has been at our school for 23 years. We danced, laughed and cried (well mostly cried) and wished her well as she moves on to new adventures. She is one very special lady and will be a huge miss. She has left some extremely big shoes to fill!

Happy Summer everyone. Over and out from Nursery 2026 💕

Year 4 had a fantastic day at the Great North Museum: Hancock, travelling back over 3,000 years to uncover the mysteries of Ancient Egypt!

Our workshop gave us the chance to explore the fascinating process of mummification (don't worry - none of the children volunteered!), discover why the Ancient Egyptians prepare bodies for the afterlife and investigate real artefacts in the Egyptian exhibition. We also spent time exploring the rest of the museum, expanding our historical knowledge and strengthening our understanding of where Ancient Egypt fits within our wider timeline of history.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful parent volunteers and helpers. School trips simply wouldn't be possible without your time, support and enthusiasm and we are incredibly grateful!

Finally, an enormous well done to all of the Year 4 children. Their behaviour was exceptional from start to finish, their curiosity was infectious and their engagement throughout the day was phenomenal. They represented our school brilliantly and we couldn't be prouder of every single one of them!
