Who are the Arabs? Where did the Arabs come from? What is the story of the roots that shaped a nation that changed the course of history?
When we speak of the Arabs, we are not referring to a single people who emerged from one place. Rather, we are talking about a long history stretching back thousands of years, from the deserts of the Arabian Peninsula to the plains of the Levant, where civilizations and tribes succeeded one another and left their mark on the world.

Great tribes that disappeared over time, such as ʿĀd, Thamūd, Ṭasm, and Jadīs. All that remains of them are remarkable ruins and enduring stories that tell of strength and civilizations far ahead of their time.

The people of ancient Yemen, homeland of the kingdoms of Sabaʾ and Ḥimyar, and the great Maʾrib Dam. From them emerged civilizations and trade networks that connected the Arabian Peninsula with the ancient world.
🔹 The Arabized Arabs (ʿAdnānites)
Descendants of Prophet Ishmael (peace be upon him). From them came the Quraysh tribe and the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad ﷺ. Through their tongues, Classical Arabic flourished and spread to the far corners of the earth.
🔹 The Arabs of the Levant and the Nabataeans
Builders of the magnificent Petra and pioneers of trade in the eastern Mediterranean region. They played an important role in the development of the Arabic script as we know it today.

من هم العرب من أين جاء العرب؟ وما قصة الجذور التي صنعت أمةً غيّرت مجرى التاريخ؟
حين نذكر العرب، فإننا لا نتحدث عن شعب واحد نشأ في مكان واحد، بل عن تاريخ طويل يمتد عبر آلاف السنين، من صحارى الجزيرة العربية إلى سهول الشام، حيث تعاقبت الحضارات والقبائل التي تركت بصمتها على العالم.

قبائل عظيمة اندثرت مع الزمن، مثل عاد وثمود وطسم وجديس، ولم يبقَ منها إلا آثار مدهشة وقصص خالدة تروي قوةً وحضارةً سبقت عصرها.
🔹 العرب العاربة (القحطانيون)
أبناء اليمن القديم، موطن ممالك سبأ وحمير وسد مأرب العظيم. منهم انطلقت حضارات وتجارات ربطت الجزيرة العربية بالعالم القديم.
🔹 العرب المستعربة (العدنانيون)
ذرية إسماعيل عليه السلام، ومنهم خرجت قريش وخاتم الأنبياء محمد ﷺ. وعلى ألسنتهم ازدهرت العربية الفصحى وانتشرت إلى مشارق الأرض ومغاربها.
🔹 عرب الشام والأنباط
صناع البتراء العجيبة ورواد التجارة في المشرق، وكان لهم دور مهم في تطور الكتابة العربية التي نعرفها اليوم.
✨ الحقيقة الأجمل أن العرب لم تصنعهم قبيلة واحدة أو منطقة واحدة، بل صنعتهم قرون من التفاعل بين شعوب وقبائل وحضارات، حتى أصبحت اللغة العربية والهوية العربية من أكثر الهويات تأثيراً واستمراراً في التاريخ.
