Invoice fraud can create significant financial and operational disruption for schools, particularly when criminals exploit trusted supplier relationships or busy internal processes.

Our latest guide supports schools in recognising the warning signs and strengthening fraud awareness across teams.

The guide explores:
β€’ How convincing invoices and small email changes can be used to mislead staff
β€’ The risks linked to urgent payment requests and supplier impersonation
β€’ Warning signs such as unusual wording, mismatched details and unexpected bank changes
β€’ Practical steps including verification, invoice cross-checking, dual approval and prompt reporting

With clear, actionable advice, this resource helps schools build confidence and reduce the risk of costly payment fraud.

In Science this afternoon, Year 6 completed their light investigation. They were tasked with investigating if distance from the light source affected the size of a shadow. From their results chart, Year 6 drew the following conclusions. The bigger the distance, the smaller the shadow. The smaller the distance, the bigger the shadow. Great work Year 6!
