Hi 👋 Bon jeudi - happy Thursday!

Here’s a language-learning opinion I feel strongly about:

Making mistakes is not a sign you’re bad at languages.

It’s a sign you’re learning.

So many adults apologise before speaking:
“Sorry, my French is terrible.”
“My Italian isn’t very good.”

But confidence doesn’t come before speaking.
It comes through speaking.

The awkward pauses, forgotten words, wrong verb endings…

They’re not failures.
They’re part of the process.

You never need perfect grammar in my classes.

You just need a bit of curiosity and be willing to have a go!

The rest comes with practice.
