Happy Days Club - wraparound childcare

Well we’ve had an absolute BLAST of a last day at DHP!!

We’ve loved…

🏃 playing a new game Rebecca found for us! (It was a HIT!)
✏️ reflecting on our summer and drawing all of our favourite memories 💖
🙌🏻 choosing what we would like to do (including loom bands and magnet tiles- always winners!)
💭 we watched a lovely slideshow of all of the photographs we’ve taken over the last 5 weeks- it was lovely to talk about the memories we’ve made!
🍦enjoying our very own delicious ice cream sundaes! (Rebecca, Lexie, Sam and Zoya even enjoyed one too 😜)

All in all we’ve had an AMAZING 5 weeks!! 🤩

As always, thank you so much to all of our children and families- we’ve loved every second of this summer 🫶🏻

Wow, how is summer club nearly over!
Today we have made yummy jelly pots.
Made lots of friendship bracelets 💖
Dodged puddles.
Played games of rounders, basketball 🏀, tennis outdoors.
It's been an absolute blast 🙌

Today, the kids turned into scientists mix and matching magical concoctions 🧪, hunted for hidden gold and made treasure maps🧭, and raced around to find an epic treasure chest 💰! Then we burned off plenty of energy tackling the outdoor obstacle course ⚡ before wrapping up the day, making kind connections 🩷

We've had a fabulous Wednesday at Happy Days DHP 👐

We have made bubbling cauldrons 👨‍🔬

Had a treasure trail with a chest of prizes at the end 🥇

Made treasure maps ❌️

Made Kindness connections with our friends 🥰

And as always played lots of games sne had lots of fun!

We've had a lovely day over at Sc, we've created our own flying machines, splatted paint 🎨 used water pistols for target practice and set up more obstacles and had running races.

We’ve enjoyed…

🗳️ voting to do loom bands as our STEM activity this morning
😎 decorating our very own super cool shades
💦 playing splash dash water challenge!
⚽️ the children were DESPERATE for a game of football so we shuffled things around a bit- we loved a good kick about!
🍃 relaxing and listening to some nature sounds (even guessing which sounds were which!)

What a brilliant Monday we've had at Happy Days Club! 🌟
​The kids put their creative thinking caps on and voted for Junk Modelling and magnatiles for the STEM challenge 📦, crafted awesome custom sunglasses 😎, and cooled down with our water relay challenge! After burning off some energy running around🏃, we immersed ourselves in nature ⛰️

Fantastic Friday with our amazing bakers who have created super cupcakes. We also created some boxes to keep our cakes safe 🧁🧁 In the afternoon we played farmer farmer and other games on the field, fueling ourselves with fruit cups and some extra cake 🧁🍓.

Yesterday was fantastic! (And very hot 🥵 -thank goodness for air con! 🙌🏻)

As a result of the heat, we had to shimmy around some of our activities! 🤪

Nevertheless, the children LOVED…
🐘 creating different animals using dough
🎨 becoming artists for the day!
🧁 baking some dee-licious cakes
🧑‍🌾 playing farmer, farmer! (A firm fave!)
