🏃‍♀️🏃 Well done, Early Years on completing a very soggy Sports Day with great enthusiasm and lots of smiles!!! ☺️

We concluded our Art Club this week by finishing our Northern Lights pictures, what a fab creations! ✨

Class 3 have completed their fantastic clay dragon eyes today!🐲🐉 They have worked incredibly hard to shape, texture and paint their unique designs, showing great creativity and attention to detail throughout the project. Well done, everyone!⭐️

📚Early Year’s Breaki & a Book📚 Thank you to everyone who attended on Tuesday, we had a super time and a special thank you to Newcastle Tesco Extra in the Community for their donation of breakfast goodies and books ❤️

This afternoon, Class 2 pupils enjoyed meeting Mrs Gray’s pet tortoise, Tillie🐢 She visited us because we recently finished our ’Living things and their habitats’ unit in science. The children were so careful with her, making sure they weren’t too loud so that she felt safe and they helped to find her some food. They remembered some important facts about reptiles too, super impressive! Well done everyone and thank you for being so lovely with Tillie, she will definitely want to visit again!😊

Class 4 had a fantastic time at Kingston Park Stadium where they took part in a tag rugby festival with schools from all over the North East. Their effort was outstanding and they won several of their matches over the morning. They also displayed fantastic sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the event. Well done SPS 🤩

Do you recognise these prisoners? Today, Class 3 visited Stamfordham Jail to experience what it would have been like to be locked up there in the past. Afterwards, we took a walk around the village ‘spotting signs of history’. We know in the past, Stamfordham had a bakers, butchers and an inn that are no longer here today!

Preschool are enjoying their new core rhyme, Here is the Beehive and have created some AMAZING soft pastel bees 🐝 Bzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Well done to Year 6 who have completed their SATs this week. We are so proud of you all 😊 Today, they enjoyed lunch at Fratelli in Ponteland as a reward for their hard work 🏆
