Reminder to all students that Monday 31st August is a bank holiday, therefore there will be no classes on that day. Normal classes resume on Thursday 3rd September.

REMINDER TO ALL STUDENTS: Thursday's Karate class will be running normally. Please make sure you bring plenty of cold water and ensure your plain WHITE T-Shirt is in your bag ready to use should Sensei permit it. I've a feeling it may be rather a hot session. 🌞

Hi, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I have taken the decision to cancel tomorrow (25th June) nights Karate class as a one-off due to the extreme weather. Looking at the forecast which is expected to be hotter again, then we could be training while the temperature is still just below 30C. I feel this is going to be difficult to manage as the room is generally hot enough and I don't want to put anyone in any more difficultly than necessary. Monday's session was hot enough! Any money already paid for tomorrow will be carried over to next week.

In the longer term we need to find a way to be able to train in these extreme heats if it becomes normal every year. I will do some thinking on this and if you have any suggestions please let me know.

Congratulations to our new red, green and blue belts, who graded last night at Red Street Community Centre. Well done to all of you, well deserved grades and very proud of you. Best score of the night belongs to Ellie (red belt) who gave an outstanding performance - well done and keep up the great work. 👊🥋
