Thank you all for everyone who showed up, got involved, and made these events so special. This is just the beginning… more exciting things coming soon.

Exams are now over so now’s a good time to relax and treat yourself with a good ol fashioned Karaoke sesh with Filsoc!!

Come down to the KPA on the January 31st 🗓️
Bring ID’s, have some drinks 🍻, play some games 🀄️but most importantly SING YOUR HEARTS OUT‼️‼️

FILSOC ICE SKATING COLLAB RECAP ❤️❄️

We’re teaming up with the Oriental Society for a joint session at the Sir Stanley Matthews Sports Centre (Staffordshire Uni) on Sunday 14th December from 3pm–6pm.

3:00–4:30pm: Social session - Whether you’re new to the sport or professional at volleyball, everyone is welcome to join our social session🤗🤗

4:30–6:00pm: Competitive session - Want to test your volleyball skills? Come and join in our Competitive session to show us what your made of‼️

FILSOC MOVIE NIGHT‼️‼️

Feeling bored this week and need a bit of relaxation? Well, look no further, come along to our filsoc movie night this Thursday!!

In terms of movies, we will let you decide on what to watch in which you can suggest through our upcoming story post.

Don’t forget to come in PJs or whatever makes you feel comfy and definitely bring some snacks for all of you big backs out there😋😋

Look no further guys we got some sweet treats in store for you😋😋

We are holding a Bake Sale in the Keele SU on Thursday 27th November between 11am to 5pm.

Half of the profits we get from our Bake Sale will come to us, that way we are able to fund more of the events that we plan in the future. The other half will go to an organisation called Angat Buhay where they respond to the needs of marginalised communities within the Philippines.

Filsocs on Ice! ❄️⛸️

Join us for a special collaborating ice-skating event with UOB × BCU × COV × OBU × MMU × STAFFS × KEELE!

We are coming together for an evening of skating, laughs, and winter vibes. Whether you’re a confident skater or stepping onto the ice for the first time, everyone’s welcome.
Feel free to explore Birmingham’s German Market and enjoy the chill atmosphere together. ✨

⏰ 5 - 6 pm
📍 Centenary Sq, Broad St, Birmingham B1 2ND
🎟 £11 Members, £13 Non-members

- Use the link in your respective uni’s bio to buy a ticket
- Tickets are non refundable
- Don’t forget to dress warm
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to put on skates and store your items
- Lockers at the venue requires a £1 coin payment
- Please be aware of your surroundings while on the ice
- And most importantly, have fun!

This event is an open invite, so feel free to bring your friends along!
