Today one of the students at our Stafford Stop Gap Alternative Provision explored his feelings and learnt about colours in a fun way! What could be better than making cakes!! 🧁

Our emotional coaches have many resources and skills to work individually with each child. Knowing what they enjoy doing, and what they will respond best to, is just one of the many ways they work alongside and build relationships of trust with pupils. Whether it’s a Pokemon stress squishy, a special gift for mum, calming techniques or a positive self talk magnet, there something to help everyone 😊

How lovely is it to be recognised and appreciated! Emily was chosen today by pupils as the member of staff that they feel most supported by and pupils chose Ian as a member of staff who is always there for you 🥰
Also, a pupil baked everyone their very own VIP cake as it was their last day with us! Happy pupils, happy staff, HAPPY HALF TERM!

The children at our Stop Gap provision have had a busy few days recently! They went to Hanley museum for VE Day to look at the spitfires and learn more the war and how it affected the people and the world as a whole. They’ve also been doing some baking learning essential life skills! Learning isn’t always about sitting down with a pen and paper 😊
