I did an amazing 121 with Larisa at The Brand Map, I’m now spending my day building this document out and finalising on building my Brand Guidelines to send out.
So much to do!

Today I got to go back to Staffs uni and give a presentation at GradEx. Talking to the graduates on what it is like to start your own business and the (many) hurdles that comes with it! I got some laughs and I didn’t forget my speech, so a cracker of an afternoon! I almost didn’t get a photo but here is the room as the students piled in!

Wow! I knew that packaging was the new problem of the planet now majority of us shop online instead of in store. But I never thought it would be this bad! We have swapped plastic carrier bags for plastic balloons in our boxes 🤦🏽‍♀️. Surely there is a more sustainable way to protect our goods? Will we ever learn?

There really is nothing more to say. More love for sea life- less love for ‘easy’ and ‘convenient’ single use plastic.

Well this is sobering!
I have recently taken part in the big plastic count and I’m shocked by my results. I am very conscious of what I by and try to avoid plastic at all costs and still these figures are high!!!
I have a so don’t buy any bottle fizzy drinks, I don’t drink milk, I always buy the loose veggie and fruit options when available - which isn’t often ( looking at you ) and I use a regular shop for cleaning products, hygiene and cupboard staples.
I get so annoyed when shopping that all fruit and veg comes in non recyclable plastic bags- other countries have recyclable packaging ( shout out to for this!)
We need to speak to our MPs get them to push forward that other options need to be available. We are making more plastic waste than we can deal with and it has to stop
