🎮🏆 FC25 Champion Crowned at Clayton Hall Academy! 🏆🎮

After an exciting tournament filled with skill, determination and plenty of memorable moments, we can finally reveal the winner of this year's Clayton Hall Academy FC25 Competition!

A huge congratulations to Noah, who overcame some tremendous challenges throughout the tournament to be crowned our second-ever FC25 Champion. 👏⚽

Also pictured is James Berrisford who also won a trophy for defence is optional. Well done to everyone who took part. Your sportsmanship, resilience and competitive spirit made the competition a fantastic success from start to finish.

Now the question is... who will be next year's champion? 👀

🌿 Students Bloom with Community Spirit at Clayton Hall Academy! 🌿
A huge well done to our Year 9 students who have helped make a lasting impact on our school environment! 👏
After raising an impressive £105 through a bake sale, Layla, Emma, Imogen, Sophie and Sophie from 9I decided to invest the money in enhancing the school gardens outside reception. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, a beautiful selection of plants has been added, creating a brighter and more welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Garners Garden Centre, whose generous 30% discount enabled the students to purchase even more colourful and attractive plants, helping to transform the area into a vibrant garden display. 🌸🌼
This project is a fantastic example of teamwork, community spirit and student leadership, showing the positive difference young people can make when supported by local businesses.
Well done to everyone involved – your efforts have truly helped our school bloom! 🌱💚

A huge well done to all of our boys who took part in the Year 7 and Year 10 Interhouse Football competitions on Wednesday 15th. There was fantastic teamwork, determination and sportsmanship on display throughout both tournaments.

🚀 Calling All Future Engineers! 🚀

We’re delighted to share an exciting opportunity for our current Year 10 students!

The GE Vernova Foundation has launched a brand-new programme in Staffordshire called Engineers of Change, building on the success of the Next Engineers programme.

Starting in January 2027, the Engineering Catalyst strand will offer students the chance to:
✅ Take part in immersive engineering design challenges
✅ Receive career coaching from industry professionals
✅ Develop valuable employability skills
✅ Explore pathways into engineering careers

The programme includes over 180 hours of learning and development across two years, all taking place outside school hours.

🎓 Students who successfully complete the programme and go on to study engineering through university or an apprenticeship may also be eligible for a partial scholarship.

Who can apply?
🔹 Current Year 10 students
🔹 Attend a school in Staffordshire
🔹 Have an interest in engineering

Applications are expected to open towards the end of May, but expressions of interest are being invited now.

If your child is passionate about engineering and wants to explore exciting future career opportunities, we encourage you to register your interest.

From Wednesday 8th July 2026 students will be able to wear their PE kit to school. This will be until the end of the academic year. Students can still wear their school uniform if they wish to do so. Students are encouraged to bring sun cream and and a water bottle to school.
