☀️🌳 Sun Safety at Oaklands Nursery School 🌳☀️

With the warm weather continuing, we are taking extra steps to ensure all children stay safe, happy and comfortable while enjoying their learning and play outdoors.

We kindly ask parents and carers to:
🧴 Apply sunscreen before nursery each morning.
👒 Send children wearing a sun hat.
👕 Dress children in lightweight, comfortable clothing suitable for warm weather.

Throughout the day, our team will encourage regular hydration, provide drinking water, make use of shaded areas, and support children with reapplying sunscreen where needed.

We’re looking for volunteers to help lead or co‑facilitate the Healthy Parent Carers programme in Staffordshire.
We're looking for people who:
✔ Are a parent carer of a child with additional needs
✔ Are confident supporting others
✔ Able to attend training
✔ Available to help run a 10‑week course once or twice a year
We offer:

💜 Great experience delivering a recognised programme
💜 A chance to empower and connect other parent carers
