RECEPTION VISIT TO WOLSELEY BRIDGE:
Reception Class had a lovely day at Wolseley Bridge where they experienced pond dipping, looking for different pond life and learning about the life cycle of a frog. The children also learnt about the different types of trees and how to identify them from their leaves. Many thanks to the education team at Wolseley Bridge for a great day of learning in the outdoors, and to all of the staff and parent helpers for making the visit possible 💙💛

HARRY’S DOUGIE MAC FUNDRAISER:

YEAR 3 FOREST SCHOOLS:
Year 3 have had a lovely afternoon in their Forest School’s session today, working collaboratively to build shelters and even climbing trees! Thank you to Mrs Haigh for delivering this session! 💙💛🙏🏻🌳🌲

REMINDER:
This is a friendly reminder that we have Harry’s Dougie Mac fundraiser tomorrow, Friday 19 June.
Children need to wear their PE kit, with optional yellow accessory. There will be an afternoon full of activities. Please send in £1 plus some spare change too for raffle tickets and cakes (cake donations to sell, much appreciated!)

YEAR 5, ST JOHN FISHER CATHOLIC COLLEGE:
Year Five are having a great day today at St John Fisher Catholic College. They have participated in a PE lesson (rounders) a science lesson and are now currently in a music lesson, exploring the keyboard. Thanks for hosting us today, and thank you to Mr Edwards for accompanying the trip, along with Miss Forrester, Miss Samways and Miss Stephens 💙 💛

After the joyful First Holy Communion celebrations at the weekend, Erin received a personalised papal blessing from Our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, to commemorate her special day. What a truly wonderful gift to receive, and thank you for sharing it with us Erin! 💙💛🙏🏻

We have yet more netball success to report! Congratulations to Safiya in Year 6 who plays for Newcastle Town Netball Club's under 11s team, and who has been awarded player of the season.

Congratulations to Year 4 netball player Sofia, who was awarded Club Player of the Season for her U9 netball team, Newcastle Town Bees.
We’re incredibly proud of her hard work, commitment, and positive attitude throughout the season. Well done Sofia, what a fabulous achievement!

SPOTLIGHT ON SUCCESS:
Good luck to Erika, yet another of our shining stars, who is currently on the coach on her way to London to perform in His Majesty's Theatre in the West End, in the show, 'Across The Line'. She has got a speaking role and singing solo and we are so proud of her! Break a leg, Erika- you will be brilliant! 💙💛🌟🎭
