Congratulations to our very own Joe Hobby!! From M&J's into senior rugby last year to Nottingham U20's is incredible 👏

I am so proud of Joe for this achievement.

He has worked his way up through the mini and junior section making his debut and cementing his position in the 1st XV last season.

Joe is a very hard working tenacious backrow player and is already Newcastle fan favourite.

FIRST DAY:
It’s been lovely welcoming our learners, old and new, back in to school today. There’s been lots of joy and laughter in the corridors and playground; we hope they’ve come home with lots of good news about what they’ve been up to!
And to our old Year 6, now Year 7, we hope you’ve all thoroughly enjoyed your first day in your new high schools! We’ve been thinking about you all.
Just wondering though, whose leavers’ hoodie made it furthest from OLSW over summer?

JOHN WORTHINGTON ARRIVES IN UKRAINE!
You may remember that last month, John Worthington, who became the host family for our lovely Mariia from Ukraine, set off on an epic cycle from his own home in Clayton to Mariia’s family home in Kosmach, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Ukraine. John was finally reunited with Mariia, her mum Oksana and their wider Ukranian family as he reached their home yesterday! This is a truly remarkable journey for John, who has undergone some significant surgery in recent months, so we wish him huge congratulations for successfully completing his quest!
