After much hard work studying and preparing, students at the school, which is part of Windsor Academy Trust, are collecting a set of strong GCSE results and getting ready to take their next steps in their educational journey.

🎓 Year 11 Results Day – Thursday 20 August 🎓

Results will be available to collect from 9:00am – 10:30am.

🚗 Parking: The playground will be open for parking.
🚶 Access: Entry to the school site will be via the service gate only.
⚠️ Please note that the main school entrance will be closed due to ongoing building works and the refurbishment of the reception area.

🎓 Class of 2026 – Newcastle Academy 🎓

On Thursday 18th June we said goodbye to our incredible Year 11 students as they left Newcastle Academy after five unforgettable years. It has been a privilege to watch you grow, achieve, and become the young people you are today.
The strength, resilience, and support you have shown one another - especially over the past few months - has been truly inspiring. As a year group, you have faced challenges that no one should have to, including the heartbreaking loss of a classmate. The way you have stood together through this time speaks volumes about your character and the bonds you share.

We wish each and every one of you the very best as you begin your next chapter. Whatever path you take, we are so proud of you and all that you have accomplished.

Please keep in touch—we would love to hear about your onward journeys and all the amazing things you go on to do. And of course, we can’t wait to welcome you back on Results Day!

🌟 So Proud of Our Talented Students! 🎨

We are incredibly proud of our students who dominated the 11–14 category in the Children’s Painting Competition 2026 – “The Life of Queen Elizabeth II.” Competing against 1,084 entries from 18 schools across the Borough, their achievements are truly outstanding!

🌟 Highly Commended: Myles, Daisy, Konnie, and Summer

The standard of artwork across the competition was exceptional, and our students truly shone. At the awards ceremony held at Keele University, they had the wonderful opportunity to showcase their artwork and discuss their inspiration with the Mayor and Lady Mayoress.

As the Mayor himself said, “You are now exhibiting artists…” — a powerful reminder of the passion, creativity, and confidence our students displayed.
We couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them—what an incredible achievement! 👏✨

📚✨ A huge thank you to all of our parents and carers who attended yesterday's event. It was wonderful to see so many families and we hope you found the information shared helpful as we prepare for this exciting new chapter at Newcastle Academy.

As a reminder, we would love all students to bring a piece of work they are particularly proud of on their first day at Newcastle Academy. This could be a piece of writing, artwork, project, certificate, or anything that showcases their achievements and interests.

🚀🤖 Year 8 Sphero Challenge! 🤖🚀

Our Year 8 students put their coding, problem-solving and teamwork skills to the test as they programmed and piloted Sphero robots through a series of obstacle courses! 🌟

Navigating tight turns, avoiding obstacles and fine-tuning their controls required determination, resilience and plenty of creativity. The lesson culminated in an exciting competition to find the fastest and most skilled pilot! 🏁
It was fantastic to see students embracing challenges, learning from mistakes and demonstrating excellent perseverance as they raced to improve their times.

🎉 Activities Week Fun! 🎉

Last week, as part of our Activities Week, students had the fantastic opportunity to take on an exciting inflatable obstacle course – and it was a huge hit! 🌟

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and friendly competition as students challenged themselves, cheered each other on, and had lots of fun navigating the course. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, building confidence, and enjoying an active day together.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success. We're delighted that the students enjoyed it so much and created some great memories along the way! 😊

The Staffordshire Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) offers free holiday activities and healthy meals for children and young people aged 5 to 16 who receive benefit-related free school meals.

Children can enjoy exciting activities, make new friends, stay active, and receive a healthy meal during the school holidays, all in a safe and supportive environment.
