🌟ST WULSTAN'S WAY 🌟

Today, our children have been introduced to our new behaviour curriculum linked to our STARS- The St Wulstan's Way. This term is all about focusing on principle 1: how we can show respect to those around us and our environment. We have been extremely impressed with the work that the children have completed and the manners that the children have been using and sharing today. We have introduced 'The Wulstan's Way token' which is given to children who have shown commitment to our STARS principles.

Here are some pictures of the work we have been completing today and the final picture shows three of our fabulous children who received a Wulstan's Way Token today for attending and serving in the staff mass on Tuesday β€οΈβ€οΈπŸ’™πŸ’™πŸŒŸπŸŽ–πŸŒŸπŸ’™πŸ’™β€οΈβ€οΈ

🌟 WELCOME BACK STAFF! 🌟

Today, we were delighted to welcome all of our staff back to school! ❀️

We spent time together reflecting on the 5 St Gabriel’s characteristics, exploring what each one means and how they are lived out every day at St Wulstan’s through the way we teach, care for and support our children and one another.

We also began to explore our new behaviour curriculum – The St Wulstan’s Way ⭐, looking at how it will help our children to understand and demonstrate the behaviours and values that make our school community so special.

And finally, as part of our continued commitment to supporting every child, we reviewed our pastoral pathways, ensuring that the right support is in place to help all of our children feel happy, safe and ready to learn.

It was a really positive day of reflection, collaboration and preparation. We’re looking forward to another day of training and preparation tomorrow, before welcoming our children back and beginning another exciting school year together! β€οΈβ€οΈπŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ«β›ͺοΈπŸ“šβ€οΈβ€οΈπŸ’™πŸ’™

WELCOME BACK TO ST WULSTAN'S!
We hope that you have had a wonderful Summer and managed to enjoy the brilliant weather.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming back our pupils on Thursday morning, and also meeting our new families properly and supporting them to settle in to our school community.

Please see the attached poster, which provides some information about returning to school, and also a reminder of the Meet the Teacher drop ins at the beginning of next week.

PE days will be confirmed in time for the week beginning 7th September.

The leadership and pastoral team are looking forward to seeing many parents, carers, grandparents and other relatives, and, of course, the children, on the gate on Thursday morning.

Please note -this information will also be sent via email this evening.

POSTPONED: We have decided to postpone the below event until a little later in the year when we have been able to make some further plans and, hopefully, be able to find some volunteers to clear the area as much as possible beforehand so that the community can concentrate in redesigning and rebuilding it to include specific areas for children.

If you know any companies who are able to help with clearing the area or who offer outreach to support with community projects like this, please let us know.
