Lessons are usually for an individual pupil and tailored to the child’s educational needs. This means your child is guaranteed to receive the teacher’s full attention, and progress is better than in a group situation.

We love teaching: it’s why we do it. We love seeing pupils improve and develop their skills and confidence. But when one of us receives a message like this, it’s absolutely wonderful.

It’s always nice to hear from old students, and it’s incredibly good to hear that they’re doing well.

That first sentence is always the most difficult when writing a story. Trying to make it an attention grabber is even worse.
We probably all remember writing stories which began with “Once upon a time” and thinking that was a great start!

You or your child may like to choose one of these to start a story (just choose carefully - a few seem a little blood-thirsty).
