We have received some beautiful cards, thoughtful gifts and lovely words from our parents, children and families as some of our children prepare for their exciting next chapter at school.

We feel so lucky to welcome children into our nursery and be part of their journey, watching them grow, learn and blossom.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful families for your continued kindness, support and trust in us. It truly means so much to our whole team.

🩷 💚 ❤️ 🤎 💙 A little appreciation post for our Oliver Bonas Little Den bags!
I bought these for our girls across our nurseries as a little thank you for working so hard over the summer term heatwaves an all!
I absolutely LOVE seeing them out and about already!
At the park, grabbing a coffee, soft play, swimming, days out… they’re coming in very handy for the team!
It was only a bag, but it was my little way of saying I see you, I appreciate you and thank you for everything you do for our children, our families each day at nursery.
And I have to say… I think they look pretty to fabulous too!
Enjoy them girls — you deserve a little treat ###

🌿🐞 Bug Prints in the Dough! 🦋🕷️

Our children have had a lovely morning exploring bugs, nature and sensory play in the garden!

We had lots of fun pushing our bugs into the dough and discovering the different patterns they left behind. We used our little fingers to explore the textures, describing them as “bumpy” and “soft!”

There was lots of wonderful squashing, squeezing, rolling and moulding, helping to strengthen those little hands and develop our fine motor skills.

We then became little explorers, using our magnifying glasses to hunt for bugs around the garden and looking through our garden book together. 🔍

What a lovely morning of exploring, discovering and learning through play! 💚🌿

🎓🤍Graduation 2026🤍🎓

What a lovely time we had celebrating our wonderful children at their Graduation! 🌟

A huge thank you to all of our amazing parents and families for joining us and helping to make the afternoon so special. We hope you enjoyed celebrating this wonderful milestone with us!

The children had so much fun decorating their plant pots, getting creative and, most importantly, spending precious time together with their friends. It was so lovely to see them sharing smiles, laughter and making special memories together.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them and everything they have achieved during their time at The Little Den. Watching them grow, learn and flourish has been an absolute joy, and we know they are all ready for their exciting next adventure! ✨

Thank you to our families for being such a special part of our nursery journey and for trusting us to be part of your children’s early years. 🧡

🌳🎨 Getting Creative at the Park! 🎨🌳

We had a wonderful morning exploring our local park, enjoying the sunshine and plenty of outdoor fun!

The children developed their gross motor skills on the playground before getting creative with paint sticks, chalk, and nature-inspired mark making. We even collected fallen sticks to take back to nursery and turned them into our very own stick people!

A fantastic day full of creativity, exploration, and outdoor learning! 💚

Playdough Pizza 🍕

Our Bouncing Bears have had a fantastic time creating their own playdough pizzas!

The children rolled, shaped, topped and sliced their delicious creations using a variety of resources, developing their fine motor skills, imagination and communication along the way. We enjoyed observing them use wonderful language as they pretended to bake, serve and enjoy their tasty pizzas!
