PIONEERING SCAS AI EDUCATION GUIDANCE GETS NATIONAL EXPOSURE

I'll be presenting the SCAS AI Education Guidance at the Four Nations Responsible AI in Healthcare Education Conference. The panel described the submitted case study as “a pioneering example of policy-led innovation”.

This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication and collaboration of several key individuals in Education, from the Innovation Development, Quality Assurance, Technology Enhanced Learning and Higher Education teams. A heartfelt thank you goes to Lisa Jackson, Claire Gedge, Georgie Taylor, Megan Laing and Mike Dunford - whose support throughout the development and publication of this guidance was absolutely priceless.

The conference is taking place online on 23 April 2026, and my presentation is expected to be delivered between 15.00-16.00 on the day.

BUILDING FUTURE LEADERS:
Launching Our Manager Development Pilot

💯 What a brilliant first day at our Introduction to Manager Development pilot session on the 25th March at the Newbury Education Centre! We explored key themes in building core leadership skills, surrounding two main themes: managing the individual (morning) and managing the wider team (afternoon). Both operations and corporate colleagues shared how useful and engaging the day felt.

🤜🤛 Collaborative group work, open discussions, and real-life examples helped bring each topic to life, giving everyone a deeper understanding of effective people‑centred management. It was fantastic to see participants learning from one another, sharing experiences, and having meaningful conversations throughout the day.

💥 The next two days of the programme will cover managing finances, challenges, personal development, conflict and effectiveness.

For this week's we're showing a nose injury and the layers of detail that go into creating such realistic moulage for our First Aid at Work course. The use of high fidelity moulage is an excellent way to engage students in simulated scenarios.
