I have been having a think about this page and whether to close it down as this chapter of my life has now finished. However I have decided I’ll leave it sitting as it’s such a beautiful reminder of so many incredibly important years.
I am now working with dogs full time and really enjoy being a teacher to a different kind of small mammal. These are my two girls Mabel (2) and Figgy Pudding (2months) who joined us this week. Mabel is a fox red Labrador and Fig is a German Pointing Vizsla.
Mabel is still doing her therapy dog work, Fig will train in scent work and so far is showing fab signs of also being a good therapy dog.

Todays been all about the woods and imaginary play. These are my last few weeks of childcare and I’m a little sad as I am loving it!!! I say last, but nothing has to actually be forever. I may be back - who knows.

Mabel has grown up to be a wonderful therapy dog and is most definitely part of the gang. The children get such enjoyment from her and she loves a good cuddle.

When the child is out of control - the most loving thing you can do is sit with them and hold them tight. Silence is golden in this situation, just be present.

Today we did some sticking to make some hearts to continue with our valentines theme. The younger children haven’t be interested in doing crafts - this is the first time they have wanted to have a go.
