About The Sand Kitchen
A relaxed indoor sand playroom running in the Kennet Centre, Newbury (by Subway).
Come down Monday to Friday, 9.30 to 2pm, and stay for as long as you like - 1 to 2 hours is common. Please check the page for extra hours.

The Sand Kitchen is based on an idea by Ute Strub, my friend and mentor from Germany. Ute began the Strandgut some years ago in an empty shop unit in Berlin and it is still a thriving place for young children to visit and play.
