De Verdun Nursery and Preschool De Verdun Children's Day Nursery is a family owned and run business operating in the centre of a thriving village community.

Tracey Ridgway, the owner of the Nursery works closely with the Manager, on a daily basis, ensuring the efficiency of the day to day operations of the Nursery. Our qualified staff place great emphasis of providing a happy, stimulating and caring environment in order to meet the individual needs of each child and their family.

We are looking to employ a qualified, enthusiastic and experienced Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner 2-5 full days per week to join our small, fun and friendly team.

All applicants must be a qualified Level 2 or 3 in Childcare, have experience working in a nursery and have knowledge of EYFS framework.

All applicants must be enthusiastic, caring, dedicated and trustworthy, have the ability to work well within a small team and communicate well, with a passion for a career working with young children.

Preferably first aid trained.

Position subject to an enhanced DBS check and references.

FULLY BOOKED.

Thank you and welcome to our new parents and children at De Verdun. We are now fully booked with no spaces available in our Baby Room until April 2025 and very limited availability and on limited days until July 2025.

Our Toddler Room currently has some, but very limited availability for April-July 2025 and we do still have some availability for the beginning of 2025 in Preschool.

We understand the importance of finding the perfect setting for both you and your child and we aim/will do our best to accommodate as many families as possible. Therefore, for those who are still interested in joining our De Verdun family, we encourage you to book a visit/secure your child’s space as early as possible to avoid any disappointment. We have also opened a waiting list for our Baby and Toddler rooms.

It’s so heartwarming to see the nursery so busy. We just want to say a big thank you to all of our parents and families at De Verdun that have chosen us and entrusted us with caring for their children. ♥️
