🚔💙 A Special Visit to the Police Station! 💙🚔

Today, some of our babies and toddlers enjoyed a little walk down to the local police station to see how many police cars they could spot! 👀🚓

When we arrived, PC Sabby Oliver spotted us from the window and came out to say hello. He kindly invited the children to have a look inside one of the police cars, and they were absolutely thrilled! 🥰

Our little ones couldn’t wait to climb inside, sit in the driver’s seat and explore the police car. But, of course, the best part was getting to switch on the amazing flashing blue lights! 🚨💙

It was such an exciting experience and a fantastic opportunity for our children to explore our local community and learn a little more about the important work our police officers do. 👮‍♂️✨

A massive thank you to Newark Police station for making our children’s day so special and giving them such a wonderful opportunity! 💙🚔

They were all absolutely buzzing with excitement and couldn’t wait to tell their parents all about their special visit when they were collected! 🥰👮‍♂️🚨

✨ Our beautiful new Preschool Room is ready! ✨

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to create a calm, warm and inviting environment for our preschool children — and we’re so pleased with how it has come together. 🌿🤎

We wanted the room to feel like a true home from home, with natural materials, cosy spaces and carefully considered resources that encourage children to explore, investigate and become confident, independent learners.

Throughout the room you’ll find opportunities for children to develop their imagination through role play, discover the world around them, enjoy books and stories, build and create, practise real-life skills and learn through meaningful, purposeful play.

Everything has been designed with our curriculum and ethos in mind — from our beautiful home corner and self-accessible resources to our cooking area, small world provision and carefully selected books. We want children to feel that this is their space: somewhere they feel safe, valued, capable and excited to learn. 🥰

Our preschool years are such an important time, and we want to give our children an environment that inspires curiosity while developing the communication, independence, resilience and life skills they will take with them to school and beyond.

We absolutely love it and can’t wait to see all the wonderful learning, conversations, friendships and memories that will happen here. 🌿✨

🍂 Hello September 🍂

A new month, a fresh start and the beginning of one of our favourite cosy seasons. 🤎

As we welcome September, we’re looking forward to lots of lovely moments across our nursery family — autumn walks, cosy activities, baking, exploring nature, learning new things and making special memories together.

Thank you, as always, to all of our wonderful families for your continued support and for trusting us to be part of your little ones’ journeys. It really does mean so much to us. 🫶

💖✨ Friendship Day! ✨💖

Today, our Holiday Club children have been getting creative making their very own friendship bracelets! 🌈📿 While crafting, we talked all about friendship, what makes a good friend and how we can make new friends. The children also enjoyed sharing special memories about how they first met their best friends and what makes their friendships so special. It was a lovely opportunity to celebrate the importance of friendship, kindness and making wonderful memories together! 🥰💕

🌟🐻 A Day Full of Adventure! 🐻🌟

Today, we met up with our friends from Our Bracebridge Nursery for an amazing day out at Sundown Adventureland! 🎢✨

The children had a fantastic time exploring, enjoying lots of exciting rides and sharing a lovely picnic together. 🧺💛 We finished our fun-filled day by meeting the very special Honey Bear and Sunny Bear, capturing some lovely photos and dancing along at a fun-filled disco! 🎶🐻📸

What a wonderful day of friendship, laughter and adventure! 🌈✨

Today, we brought the zoo to our nursery! 🦁🐒🦒

Following on from some of our children visiting the zoo over the weekend, we have been talking about their experiences and finding out what they got up to. The children enjoyed exploring different animals that can be found at the zoo and learning about where they originate from and the different parts of the world they call home. 🌍🐘✨

It was a lovely opportunity to share their experiences, develop their knowledge and spark lots of curiosity about the wonderful world of animals! 🐾💛

🧖🏼‍♀️✨ Self care and Wellness Day ✨🧖🏼‍♀️

Today, our Holiday Club children have been learning all about self-care and wellbeing! 🧖‍♀️✨

They enjoyed making their very own face masks and lip balms while talking about why taking care of ourselves is so important. 🥰 They also explored the importance of looking after our teeth, keeping our hair clean and healthy, and learning about simple ways we can take care of ourselves every day. 🦷🪥💆‍♀️

It was a lovely day of learning, pampering and promoting positive wellbeing! 💕✨

🍃✨ Exciting Changes in Our Preschool Room! ✨🍃

Our preschool room is currently having a little revamp, and we’re so excited to see it all coming together! 🥰

We’re creating a warm, welcoming and engaging environment where our children can explore, investigate, create and learn through play. Every area is being carefully thought about to encourage independence, curiosity and those all-important little conversations and discoveries. 🌿🧩🎨📚

We can’t wait to share the finished room with you — although, as we know in Early Years, is a room ever really finished? 😂💚
