Balderton Parish Council ran a poster competition last term on the theme - ‘Keep Balderton Litter Free’

The entries were judged by Reverand Louise during the Easter break, and we were delighted to find out in Friday’s celebration assembly, that 12 of our children had been selected. Congratulations to the winners – we are all very proud of you.

These posters will now be printed and displayed around Balderton. Keep an eye out for them!

🐣 Easter Competitions 🐣

A huge congratulations to all our amazing Easter Bonnet and Easter Egg Decorating winners! 🏆✨ Your creativity, colour, and imagination was wonderful!

From beautiful bonnets bursting with springtime cheer to eggs decorated with incredible detail we were so impressed by everyone’s efforts!

👏 Well done to all who took part — you made it such a joyful and memorable event.

Year 5 had an amazing time at Rand Farm. The children got to bottle feed the lambs and cows, made their own butter and had a fantastic tractor ride in the sunshine!
It was a fun filled day packed with smiles, laughter, and lots of hands-on experiences.

🏹✨ A Visit to Remember! ✨🏹

We were honoured to welcome the Sheriff of Nottingham to our school last week to present the award to our fantastic competition winner! 👑

Our children had worked incredibly hard and showed creativity, and it all paid off as our winner was officially crowned by the Sheriff himself!

A huge congratulations to our winner and a big well done to everyone who took part—you should all be very proud of your efforts 👏

Thank you to the Sheriff of Nottingham for making this such a special and memorable occasion for our school!

Huge shoutout to our amazing teachers for being such great sports!👏

They took one for the team and got absolutely soaked in the stocks for Red Nose Day – all for a great cause.

The children loved every minute, and it definitely brought plenty of laughs (and a lot of water).
Thank you for making it such a fun and memorable day while helping raise money for charity!

🎈❤️ Red Nose Day Fun at School! ❤️🎈

Today we came together to support Red Nose Day and raise money for an amazing cause. From bright red noses to creative outfits and lots of laughter, it’s been a fantastic day full of smiles and generosity!

A huge thank you to all our children, staff, and families for getting involved, donating, and helping to make a difference. Every contribution counts and helps support those in need.
