The school has adopted a coral which the children have decided to name Carl.

A big thank you to Mrs Sprott for organising. Carl will spend the next 6 months growing in the coral nursery before being outplanted onto the reef.

Our Caterpillars Nursery children took part in their very own Sports Day! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The children had lots of fun taking part in a variety of activities, showing off their enthusiasm and determination. It was wonderful to see so many smiles, cheers, and proud achievements.

On Tuesday Year 5 attended a Safety Awareness event with sessions from the police, fire service, Newark First Aid, Canal & Rivers Trust & Newark & Sherwood DC. They learnt about fire, rail, road, water and food safety and had a session on first aid.

We had 14 pupils represent the school at the Flintham CC schools cricket festival. They competed brilliantly and were great ambassadors for the school. The 9&U team won both of their matches to finish first. The 11&U team won one and lost one of their matches. Well done to everyone!
