OK are there any painters and decorators out there, in or near Ollerton; who are willing to view a property in person rather than a virtual tour, and who will give a sensible quote please.

It's a full house renovation, walls taken back to plaster already, so need sanding, as too will newly skimmed walls

Recommendations urgently needed please.

Autumn break is here, the weather, the virus and lock downs are challenges for us all. Keeping the kids active, positive and having fun can be hard work. Some may not want to go out and about so here are a few ideas Helens childminding have come up with.

Lots of inside crafts, icing biscuits, cutting and sticking printing and painting discussing leaves and why they fall, doing our leaf man book and activities, pumpkins, golf tee pumpkin heads and hedgehogs, leaf prints and painting, stickers, haunted house and scooby Doo mystery machine, pumpkin and spider inflatable party... Then outside our own pumpkin patch and pumpkin picking with wheelbarriw rides and leaf sweeping., making a leaf House for Ned the hedghog.. Linking in with our new book "it was a cold dark night" with Ned the hedgehog and lots more stories and games for Ned next week as we create our own story bag and activities... Have fun our there, stay safe, hope these give u some ideas😊

Happy Pancake Day everyone. We have had amazing fun today exploring lots of different ingredients. Flour play, mark making, painting, sieving adding other things to it. Then science egg play. Raw eggs and whisking and then cooking to scrambled. Also boiling eggs letting them shell them and eat. With pancakes 😄. We then had rhymes and pancake songs to burn off energy, dancing and doing actions for making pancakes 😂😂. Then amazing role play, sorting eggs , hatching into chicks or dinosaurs and moshies... Counting fun, or fried eggs and egg and spoon races. So much fun thank you children, tears of laughter, finished off with the Stories The Giant Pancake, and 5 little ducks 😄

This week's story of The Three Little pigs. Story time fun and inside play, then taking our story outside looking at what is straw, what are sticks and where do they come from. Collecting and playing... The children then began to act out the story, using the rabbit run to help support their houses of straw and sticks. They collected the fallen sticks from the garden, in our wheelbarrow... Lots of fun, wheelbarrow rides, songs 5,6 pick up sticks, 7,8 lay them straight.. and the wise man built his house upon the rocks... They ran round being little piggies and big bad wolves 😂😂. Had a great time.

Having a fabulous week celebrating the Chinese New Year... Learning about different cultures and celebrations. ... Dancing the Chinese dragon dance, jumping, hoping, swaying, bobbing and swirling... Using scarves and a parachute 😄😄 lots of excitement.. Then making our own instruments and music with chopsticks and metal bowls..

An afternoon reading Chinese stories.. learning how the Chinese zodiac came to be and what each animal represent s... Then adapted nursery Rhymes of the 3 Blind Rats 😂😂😂... We all had lots of fun... And more exciting new experiences to have for the rest of the week too..
