Pottery making in our Art Room! 🤎

Our pre-schoolers have been getting creative with clay, using their hands and imaginations to mould, shape and create their very own pieces of pottery.

Working with clay is such a lovely sensory experience for the children, but there’s so much learning happening at the same time. As they squeeze, roll, pinch and shape the clay, they’re building strength in those little hands, developing their fine motor skills and learning how they can turn their own ideas into something they’ve made themselves.

Our new Art Room gives the children a dedicated place to experiment, get messy and be completely creative.

We absolutely love seeing what they come up with. 🥰

A little reminder from us… please label EVERYTHING!

Jumpers, coats, water bottles, wellies, bags… if it comes to nursery, pop their name on it!

With lots of little ones (and lots of very similar belongings!) it makes it so much easier for our team to make sure everything finds its way back to the right home.

🍼 We’re looking for someone lovely to join our Baby Room team at Kneesall!

We have a full-time position available for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, working with some of the littlest members of our Country Kids family.

You’ll be building those all-important bonds with our babies and their families, supporting their early development through play, songs, stories and new experiences, and helping to create a happy, nurturing environment where they feel safe and settled.

A little about the role…
🍼 Based in our Baby Room
🤍 Full-time position
📅 Option to work across 3 or 4 days
🎓 Level 3 Early Years qualification required
💷 £13.13 - £14.42 per hour

A huge happy 6-year work-iversary to our wonderful Tina! 💛

Tina joined Country Kids back in September 2020 and, quite simply, we don’t know how we’d run without her!

As our Finance Manager across all of our Country Kids sites, Tina works incredibly hard behind the scenes keeping everything (and everyone!) organised.

And while she’s primarily based at Sleaford, our teams across the nurseries absolutely LOVE it when Tina comes to visit… not least because she very rarely arrives empty-handed! 😂 There’s usually a bag in tow filled with muffins, doughnuts, chocolate or some other treats for the team. She certainly knows the way to everyone’s hearts! 🍩🍫🧁

But goodies aside, Tina is such a loved and valued part of Country Kids. She’s always there to help, answer a question or sort something out, and so much of what happens across our nurseries simply wouldn’t run as smoothly without everything she does behind the scenes.

Six years of Tina, and we’re very lucky to have her. 💛

Thank you for everything you do for Country Kids, Tina – here’s to many more years (and many more bags of treats! 😂)

A huge happy 3-year work-iversary to our lovely Lilly! 🥳

Lilly joined our Country Kids Kneesall team in August 2023 as an apprentice, and it’s been so lovely to watch her grow and progress over the last three years.

Since joining us, she has gone on to become Level 3 Qualified, completed her paediatric first aid training and, most recently, stepped up into her role as our Pre-School Room Leader. 💛

Lilly has become such a valued part of our Kneesall team and has built some really special relationships with our children and families along the way. 🥰

We’re incredibly proud of everything she has achieved and how far she has come since first joining us as an apprentice.

Thank you for everything you bring to Country Kids, Lilly. 🎉
