📚⭐ End of Year Starbooks Winners! ⭐📚

In the last week of term we celebrated the last Staebooks winners of the year.

A huge congratulations to our last Starbooks winners this year! 🎉

To celebrate their fantastic attitude towards reading throughout the term, each winner enjoyed cookies, a book, and a hot chocolate as a special reward. 🍪📖☕

We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, commitment and love of reading shown by all of our winners. Keep turning those pages and exploring new adventures through books!

Last week, we said a very special goodbye and good luck to our amazing Year 6s! 💙

What a journey it has been! We are so proud of everything they have achieved, the challenges they have overcome, and the wonderful young people they have become.

As they take their next steps, we hope they continue to dream big, believe in themselves and embrace every opportunity that comes their way. 🌟

We are incredibly proud to share that our outcomes have doubled this year, a reflection of the hard work, determination and commitment of our pupils, staff and families.

Every day, we strive to Empower Everyday Excellence, and it is inspiring to see our vision becoming a reality. We believe every child can succeed, and we refuse to write anyone off.

This is just the beginning. We are proud of how far we've come and excited to continue raising expectations, unlocking potential and achieving even greater excellence together.

👕 Our New School Uniform 👕

Our office team has been working hard behind the scenes getting all of our new school uniform orders packed and ready to go out this week.
We're also delighted that every child will receive a brand-new Newark Flying High Academy branded water bottle, which will be given out on the first day back in September.

We can't wait to see everyone looking smart and ready for another fantastic year! 💙

🎨🖼 Spotlight Gallery at Newark Town Hall 🖼🎨

We are delighted to showcase our pupils’ artwork at the Spotlight Gallery, Newark Town Hall! This term, Art has been used to support our year groups’ enquiry learning, resulting in some truly fantastic pieces.

The exhibition, located on the upper floor of the Town Hall, is now open and runs until mid-September. We encourage families to visit, view their child’s work, and celebrate the creativity and talent displayed by pupils across our school.

☀️ A fantastic final Big Breakfast of the school year! 🥐

Last week it was wonderful to enjoy breakfast together in the sunshine with so many of our families. Thank you to all our parents and carers for your continued support throughout the year. We've loved welcoming you into school and can't wait to do even more together next year.

🎨🖌️ Year 1 & 2 Visit Lakeside Arts Centre 🖌️🎨

Our Year 1 and 2 children had a wonderful day at Lakeside Arts Centre, where they explored the fascinating Drawn Through Time exhibition. They enjoyed looking at artwork by the famous artist Tichan, alongside many other inspiring pieces, discovering how artists use different styles and techniques to express their ideas.

The children then put their own artistic skills into practice, beginning with some careful sketching before creating their very own printed artwork. We were so impressed with their creativity and enthusiasm!

After a busy morning, we enjoyed lunch overlooking the beautiful lake, where we were excited to spot lots of wildlife. To finish our fantastic day, the children had great fun exploring the play area before heading back to school, full of smiles and wonderful memories.

Well done to all of the children for representing our school so brilliantly throughout the day! 🌿🦆🎨

To help cheer England on, children are welcome to wear red, white, or an England shirt to school on tomorrow (14.07.2026). This is entirely optional, and children are equally welcome to wear their normal school uniform. We want everyone to feel comfortable, whatever they choose to wear. ⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿👏
