The little ones were buzzing with excitement as they carefully prepared a special cup of love tea for Mummy. Tiny hands poured and stirred with so much care, each movement filled with joy and anticipation. As we worked together, we talked about all the ways we love Mummy—her warm hugs, her gentle voice, and the little things she does that make us feel safe and happy. The room was full of laughter, love, and the sweet aroma of tea, making it a truly special moment that Mummy would cherish forever.

Hi! I'm Aysha, a proud mum of three and the heart behind Aysha's Tiney Home Nursery here in lovely Newark, where I've lived for the past 16 years.
With a big, lively family and years of hands-on experience caring for my nieces and nephews, looking after little ones has always come naturally to me. My home is cosy, colourful and full of fun, with a lovely garden for outdoor play, lots of arts and crafts and plenty of books and toys to explore. I am passionate about encouraging creativity, kindness and curiosity in children, whether that's through baking together, messy play or singing along to your favourite nursery rhymes.
As a parent myself, I know how important trust and communication are, and I always aim to create a home-to-home feel for both children and their families. If you'd like to know more or have any questions, feel free to get in touch - I'd love to hear from you.
My journey into childcare began with 8 months of voluntary work at a local nursery, where I gained valuable hands-on experience working with children. It was during this time that I realised just how passionate I am about supporting early childhood development. This experience inspired me to start Aysha's Tiney Home Nursery - a setting that allows me to do the work I love while also being present for my own children and not missing out on their precious milestones.
Alongside, my professional experience, being a mum to three wonderful children aged 12, 8 and 4 has given me a deep, personal understanding of the different stages of childhood. From toddler tantrums to starting school and navigating the teenage years, I’ve experienced the joys and challenges that come with each phase. This has taught me patience, adaptability and the importance of creating a calm and supportive environment where children feel secure and encouraged to grow. My own parenting journey has truly shaped the way I care for other children - with empathy, consistency and a whole lot of love.
To further my knowledge, I completed NCFE CACHE Level 2 Understanding Mental Health in Early Years, which covered key topics such as emotional wellbeing, attachment and bonding, early brain development and recognising signs of stress or anxiety in young children. Having this foundation is so important as a childminder - it helps me better to understand each child's emotional needs, provide a nurturing and responsive environment and support their social and mental development from an early age. I believe that a child's emotional health is just as important as their physical development and I aim to create a space where every child feels safe, understood and supported.
I am available to provide childcare from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 and 16:00. These hours allow me to offer a consistent and structured routine for the child in my care. Please feel free to discuss availability or to arrange a visit.
My fee is £6.00 per hour, which includes lunch and a snack. All meals are freshly prepared and tailored to suit individual dietary needs where required. This rate reflects the high quality of care, attention and nurturing environment provided at Aysha's Tiney Home Nursery.
