We would like to welcome Indie to the AJ’s team!
A bit about Indie: I started at AJ’s at the age of 8, after taking a year’s break from dance. The moment I started, I felt welcomed into the family and made so many friends I still talk to and see now. I continued at AJ’s until I was 16, during which time I started singing lessons and extra classes. AJ’s supported me through college auditions with singing lessons, private dance lessons, and guidance through the whole audition process. Even after my final classes, they continued to support me throughout my college life — inviting me back to dance in their show, chaperoning, and letting me teach classes I used to attend myself.
Since leaving AJ’s, I’ve graduated with a 3-year diploma in Musical Theatre, qualified as a Dance Fit teacher, and taught dance and singing lessons at various places. I wouldn’t have been able to achieve any of this without the confidence and life lessons the teachers at AJ’s gave me, and I’m so grateful to still be part of their family even after graduating.
Indie will be taking over our STEP JAM aerobics class and covering classes, camps, and more. We can’t wait to have Indie back with the AJ’s family!
