Our preschoolers had a wonderful time walking to our local market! They chose and bought their very own fruit for snack, developing their independence, confidence and communication skills along the way. 🍓🍐

We loved seeing the children making choices, chatting with the market sellers and learning all about fresh, healthy foods. 💕🌱

At nursery, we believe children learn so much from the world around them. That’s why our local community is such a big part of our curriculum.
We love getting out and about, exploring the places that make our community special — from trips to Newark by the Sea 🌊 to adventures in our local parks 🌳, discovering nature, meeting people and learning about the world around us.

These experiences help children build confidence, develop a sense of belonging and make meaningful connections with their local community. 🥰

Out and about in our community! 🌿🚶‍♀️

We love taking our learning beyond the nursery walls. Exploring our local community helps children make real-life connections, build confidence, develop social skills, and spark their curiosity about the world around them.

Every walk is an opportunity to discover something new, whether it’s spotting seasonal changes, talking about road safety, visiting local places, or simply enjoying nature together. These experiences all link back to our learning and support children’s development in meaningful, hands-on ways.

🧸☀️ What a wonderful day at our Teddy Bear Picnic! We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea outdoors with all of our nursery rooms coming together for a special social event.

The children had lots of fun making delicious teddy bear biscuits, which everyone enjoyed. It was so lovely to see the children sharing smiles, laughter, and making happy memories together in the sunshine.💛🧸🍪

🏅 What a fantastic Sports Day we had today! 🌟

Our children had so much fun taking part in a variety of races, including the running race, egg and spoon race, beanbag race, and hurdle race. Everyone gave it their best effort, showed great determination, and had lots of smiles along the way! 💛

We even had a parent race, which brought plenty of laughter and excitement! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful parents and families who came along to cheer the children on and support the event. Your encouragement made the day extra special! 🎉
