From Level 1, where you’ll build your foundations in shampooing, conditioning, blow-drying, styling, plaiting and assisting with colouring, through to Level 2 and Level 3, where you can develop advanced cutting, colouring, creative styling and salon skills, there are routes to help you progress towards a career in the industry.

Lexi started her journey at Newark College, part of the Lincoln College Group, after leaving school in Year 9. Beginning with the Level 1 Hairdressing course, Lexi progressed through Levels 2 and 3, finishing with an impressive distinction 👏

Yesterday, on , Lexi finally completed her journey by resitting her English and Maths, achieving a grade 4 in both! 🎉

During her time with us, she’s loved the practical side of her course, learning new skills and even gaining insights from celebrity hairstylist Lee Stafford, who visits our hair students every year at both campuses!

Congratulations to all our brilliant students on their GCSE results! 🎉 We had a few familiar faces on campus to open their results with their tutors. Well done to Lexi, Brody, Phoebe and Ella! 👏

Ella, who started on the Level 2 Creative Media course, secured a 4 in Maths and hopes to progress to Level 3 Creative Media in September. So far, she’s loved her course and enjoyed learning new things! Phoebe, who is studying Level 1 Automotive, will be progressing to Level 2 Automotive in September! 🚗

It’s at Newark College! Brody popped into college this morning to collect his results 🎉

Starting on the Level 1 Multi-Skills course alongside resitting his GCSE English, Brody achieved a Grade 4! In September, he’ll be progressing to Automotive Engineering🚗

Brody has enjoyed his experience at college and, with the transition to his new course, has felt well supported. He’s looking forward to pursuing his passion! 🙌
