Shaving Foam and animals.🐋
Today the children had shaving foam in the water tray animals were added. The children watched as the foam came out of the end and were surprised.
Some of our children explored the foam. But some weren’t happy with the texture of the soft foam with lots of encouragement from myself to touch it.

Little explorers 🔍
We had a wide range of activities outdoors today which the children had fun exploring.
We had a tuff spot full of different bugs this supported children’s understanding the world and their imagination skills when exploring the tray with the binoculars and the magnify glasses.
We had the bikes and cars which supports children’s physical skills and we created their very own road with cones and signs for them to look out for.
We created an obstacle course in the garden this supports the children’s gross motor skills and independence when exploring the course and gets them thinking on how they can take on the challenge.

Fireworks paintings🎆
The children have enjoyed our fireworks painting this week using a simple cup with cuts in and then dipping into colours.🎨
They listened to instructions and watched how others painted and made marks, this showed some good understanding skills.🎨
Using hand-eye co-ordination they could hold the tube and dip it into paint then transfer it onto the paper.🎨
