We’re busy prepping for tomorrow’s Day of Syn LANTERN PARADE!! 😁😮 Come and make your own Smuggler Lantern🏮 for FREE from 12 noon tomorrow (Friday 28th August). Find us at the blue trailer on Dymchurch Beach 🏖️ near the slipway. If anyone has any spare jam jars or tea lights🕯️please do bring them along, just in case…! Government restrictions have now been lifted so come on everyone - let’s LIGHT UP DYMCHURCH!! 😁

Nailed it!! And hammered, sanded and threaded it!! 😁😎🔨Pewter Jewellery was an absolute blast today - well done everyone!! 🦋👍 Unbelievably we’re almost at the end of the summer holiday already…noooooooooo😭 BUT first we’ve got DAY OF SYN 2026 - yaaaaaaaaaayy! 🏴‍☠️🗡️
We’ll be running the following Day of Syn Workshops:
Friday 28th August 12.00 – 14.00, Lantern Making for the Evening Parade at 8pm🏮
Saturday 29th August 09.30 to 10.30, Scarecrow Making for the Morning Parade at 10.45
Sunday 30th August 09.30 – 10.30, Day of Syn Magnets

Another fab day at Dymchurch Beach 🏖️- we tried the kites 🪁 but it really was too windy 🌬️ and they just flew away!! Magnets 🧲 were next, quickly followed by Pirate Ships 🚢, Wooden Pictures and Miniature Harps 🪉- what a creative bunch you all are! 😁👍 Tomorrow’s FREE family workshop will be PEWTER JEWELLERY 💎- come and make a necklace or ring from 12 - 4 on Dymchurch sea wall - look out for the blue trailer near the slipway. These workshops have been funded by Dymchurch Council for the benefit of local residents and visitors - thank you 😊

After a whirlwind 💨 of a wonderful weekend at Tribal Earth Festival, we’re back on Dymchurch Beach 🏖️ tomorrow for more FREE family craft activities… 😁👍 We’re hoping to start with KITES🪁 (weather permitting as everything may actually fly away!!) and move on to PAINTED MAGNETS and STONE PICTURE COLLAGES…Come and find us at the blue trailer near the slipway on Dymchurch sea wall, 12 noon to around 4pm 😎🐸

And join us in the Parade on Sunday 30th August at 10.45am with your
Scarecrow.

The Scarecrows will be judged at the
Fête opening at 11am.
