Sorry we went a bit quiet last year! We are still collecting recycling for fundraising, but only metal and textiles now. The Terracycle programmes have changed so much that they are no longer viable for us.
We can now collect any metal, including small electrical appliances and also textiles, which can be brought to the school on a Monday between 3:20pm and 3:45pm.
We look forward to seeing you, helping save the planet, by preventing things from going to landfill, and also raising funds for our children’s outdoor play provision.

Please be aware that we can only recycle the old style Pringles tubes, with Terracycle now, the ones with metal bottoms.
The new, paper bottom tubes can go in your household recycling, and won’t count if we send them to Terracycle.
Let’s get as many recycled as we possibly can, before they disappear! ♻️

It’s Greatstone Nursery and Primary School’s summer fete this Saturday, 22nd June. Come along from 2pm and try your luck on one of our stalls or raffles, fill your tummy at our yummy BBQ and support many of our local craftspeople who will be joining us.

A great start to a sunny Saturday - 108kg of mixed metals dropped off to EMR, ready to be recycled ♻️
Please keep collecting your cans and other scrap metal to raise funds for us, to continue improving the play provision we can offer the children.
If anyone can take a car load of metal, or even just a couple of bags of cans, up to Ashford once a term for us, please let me know, as this would help enormously.
