In the summer holidays we had the pleasure of hosting a dance class for the summer reading challenge at the Lyminge Library. We read a book together called all the wonderful ways to move and then we learned all the actions and put them into a little dance. The children and I had great fun and moved alot!

☀️How has summer been for you?

We have been a little quiet on here while we have a little freshen up of our look and lots of planning and prep for September!

So as many of you will know, I also run Betty Townsend School of Dance. We are linking Achieve Active into Townsend dance and making everything more uniform.

🤔 What does this mean?
Other than changing the logo and our appearance, nothing! All the classes you know and love will be the same, just a smarter look!
Well that and all our Romney Marsh classes that were previously in Greatstone will now be based in our brand new studio in New Romney!

So, to start with, this is our shiny new logo :)

And thats a wrap!

Its been a VERY busy start to the year and its been absolutley wonderful dancing with you all, but we are taking a short break over August to refresh, renew and rest!

Lots of fun coming up from September :) see you all very soon!

Its getting so close!

I had the absolute pleasure in working one to one with this lovely young lady for a tap solo for her school performance of Matilda recently. She has worked so incredibly hard and absolutely shone on stage. What a wonderful performance! Well done to all at Brookland C of E Primary School for a brilliant performance and efforts all round! Well done to Olivia, you are such a hard working and talented young lady! 🧡💙
