Lots of fun listen to different frogs

One of our little stars is mad about frogs at the moment. So we’ve run with the child led learning in our setting. The others have loved it too.

The children at Little Stars are really enjoying the new Toniebox we bought at the weekend. It’s already proving to be a lovely resource for supporting independence, as the children can choose and operate it themselves, building confidence and a sense of control over their learning.

Within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), the Toniebox supports several key areas of development. It encourages early literacy through listening to stories, songs, and rhymes, helping children develop attention, comprehension, and language skills. It also promotes communication and language, as children engage with familiar narratives and begin to retell and discuss what they hear.

Alongside this, it supports personal, social and emotional development by giving children opportunities to make choices, share with others, and enjoy a calming, familiar activity together.
