Calling all Ballard Alumni…

Are you a former Ballard pupil? We would love to hear from you!

We are keen to renew and expand our links with Alumni. Please share this form with any contacts you have who have attended the school, or have children who have attended. Please ask them to pass it on as well so we can reach as many previous pupils as possible!

We have put a tight turnaround on this and want to collect as much data as possible in one week, so it doesn't linger on people's 'To Do' lists for too long, so please encourage sharing and completing as soon as possible.

11 days to go until our Heritage Open Day!

Your FREE ticket will give you access to a 45 minute guided tour and refreshments.

Explore Ballard School main house that was built as a country residence for the Ubsdell family, in the early 1900s and still has many typical period features from the day.

Tours will be led by staff and alumni of the school who have particular interest in the Great Ballard Estate, the Ubsdell family and local history. The dedicated Heritage Room includes plaques and photographs depicting the journey of Ballard from a country estate to a modern, thriving school. We would love to welcome you to unlock Ballard’s many hidden treasures.

This is a call for all alumni hockey players!

We’ve the Caz Gray eleven a side hockey tournament on Saturday morning, December 11th that simply has to be won!

Congratulation to Alumnus, Huw Montague Rendall (aged 26), who managed to make it to Rouen to perform in Pelléas et Mélisande by Debussy.

Unfortunately, live audiences are not permitted at this time hence the performance was recorded for streaming instead.

Your School Needs You!
During this period of isolation we want to bring the Ballard Family together with music. We want to create a Ballard Virtual Choir to perform Eric Whitacre’s ‘Fly to Paradise’ and although we may not reach the 8,000 participants he did, we believe we can do this with your help during the Easter holidays. No singing experience is necessary and we will help you each step of the way but we need you to join in and spread the word to all your friends and family who have been associated in some way with Ballard. We love when our former pupils come and visit Ballard - this week it was Charles Williamson who helped judge our cake competition!

“One of our former pupils, Charles Williamson, GM at the Jetty restaurant in Mudeford, judged the FOBS cake competition and the ‘garden on a plate’. Charlie kindly donated a Jetty voucher to the winner.”
