Welcome back to a brand new term! 🤍 We have a massively busy couple of weeks coming up at the studio. Watch the video for the full update, but here is your quick cheat sheet for everything you need to know:
🎤 Friday, 4th Sept - Open Mic Night
Come and perform, or just grab a drink and enjoy the talent! It is a brilliant night out, completely family-friendly (dogs included 🐶). The lineup is already sounding amazing!
🎶 Tuesday, 8th Sept - Show Choir Open Rehearsal
We are welcoming new members to the Barton Court Studios Show Choir! 7:00 PM at Ashley Junior School. If you love musical theatre and big Christmas performances, this is your chance to join us.
🗓️ Singing Lesson Availability
With our older students heading off to university, we have some rare gaps in the diary! We have a few Monday and Tuesday slots with Sarah and Thursday slots available with Debbie, and I have exactly one evening slot left with me Cassie. Message us ASAP to grab one before they go!
🛍️ Saturday, 12th Sept - Live at the Marlands Centre
Three of our fantastic students will be performing live at the Marlands Centre in Southampton. Come and support them if you are out shopping!
✨ Sunday, 13th Sept - Performance Academy Celebration
Calling all past and present members! Join us at Highcliffe Social Club as we come together to celebrate 11 incredible years of the Performing Arts Academy. We cannot wait to look back at all the shows, friendships, and ridiculous routines we’ve shared.

Good luck to all of our amazing students receiving their GCSE results tomorrow! 🌟🤞
We know exactly how incredibly hard you have all worked over the last couple of years, brilliantly balancing your heavy revision schedules alongside your singing lessons, rehearsals, and performances.
Please remember, whatever is waiting inside that envelope tomorrow, those grades do not define who you are. Your creativity, your passion, your resilience, and your beautiful voices are what make you truly special, and no exam paper can ever measure that!
We are already so incredibly proud of every single one of you. Take a deep breath, and know that your Barton Court Studios family is cheering you on.
Let us know how you get on, and no matter what happens, we will be celebrating you at your next lesson!

Step into the booth for our exclusive SIX: The Vocal Intensive on Saturday, 3rd October! 🎤✨
If you’ve ever wanted to know what it’s like to record a professional cast album, this is your chance. We’ll be breaking down the fierce, pop-inspired vocals of the Queens, mastering tight harmonies, and recording a fully mixed medley featuring solos, duets, and massive group numbers!
🎧 Why train with us?
You’ll be guided by our principal, Cassie, who is a professional singer and singing teacher. Drawing from her brilliant career performing in musical theatre and cabaret, and utilising her technical expertise as a studio engineer, she knows exactly how to help you capture that powerhouse, stage-ready vocal on the mic.
Spaces for this workshop are strictly limited to just 10 singers (Ages 12+), ensuring everyone gets dedicated 1:1 time in the booth.
Because of the small group size and the popularity of the show, these spaces will go incredibly quickly! ⏳

Huge congratulations to our incredible Chloe Chloe-Louisa on her opening night as Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde! BMT Productions The Regent Christchurch 💖🎀
I had the absolute best time tonight taking a bunch of our BCS students to go and cheer her on, and wow... she was absolutely amazing! We loved every single second of it, and I have to say, her song was hands down the best one in the whole show! 👏✨
We are all so incredibly proud of you. You’ll always be BCS family! Love you so much and congratulations again on a spectacular opening night! xx
