What a wonderful ‘World Book Day’ we had here at Cherry Tree Pre School. The children looked fantastic in their Julia Donaldson themed costumes! We made chocolate Gruffalo Paws and the children created their very own book characters with some very interesting names indeed! We had a scavenger hunt in our garden and even squeezed in a game of pass the parcel. Such a fun day!!

As the years go on and veterans become fewer it is so important to keep the legacy of their impact for the generations to come. We certainly did with a talk from Sarah, beautiful crafted poppies and a trip to the war memorial to observe 2m silence with our village community .
The children are still small but the message is big...Remember x
