New Home Learning & Support Bags Available!
We are delighted to introduce our new Home Learning Bags and Theme Bags to help support children's learning and development at home.

Our Home Learning Bags cover all areas of learning and are filled with fun activities, resources and ideas that you can enjoy together as a family. We have also created Theme Bags to support children and families through important milestones and life experiences, including topics such as welcoming a new sibling and toilet training.

These special bags are available in our Home Learning Shed, so please feel free to help yourself and enjoy exploring them at home with your child.

We would love to continue growing our collection, so if there are any other themes or topics you would find helpful, please let us know. Your feedback will help us ensure we are providing the best possible support for our families.

Happy World Teachers’ Day!

Today, we celebrate all the incredible teachers and educators who inspire, nurture and support children every single day.

Happy Grandparents’ Day!

Today, we would like to wish all the wonderful grandparents, grandmas, grandads, nannas, grandpas and special family members a very Happy Grandparents’ Day!

Thank you for the love, wisdom, cuddles, stories and laughter you bring to your grandchildren’s lives. The special memories you create, whether it’s baking together, sharing adventures, reading stories or simply spending time together, help children feel loved, valued and secure.

At Perins Pre-School, we know just how important grandparents are in supporting children as they learn, grow and explore the world around them. We are so grateful for everything you do.

Community Kindness in Alresford !

This week, the children at Perins Pre-School enjoyed decorating beautiful stones with colourful designs and cheerful messages. ✨

We then took a walk around the beautiful village of Alresford, leaving our special stones in different locations for members of the community to discover. Our hope was to brighten someone's day, spread a little kindness, and bring a smile to those who find them.

The children loved exploring the village, searching for the perfect places to leave their creations, and talking about how their stones might make someone else feel happy. It was a wonderful way to connect with our local community and learn about the importance of kindness and caring for others.

We were also incredibly lucky to be part of the Autumn Steam Gala The Watercress Line, making this an even more exciting and memorable experience for the children. If you happen to find one of our painted stones while out and about in Alresford, we'd love to see a photo in the comments!

🌙💙 SAFE SLEEPING AT PERINS PRE-SCHOOL 💙🌙

The safety and wellbeing of our children is always our highest priority. Following updated safe sleeping guidance, we would like to share how we support children during sleep and rest times at pre-school and how families can help maintain safe sleep practices at home.

At pre-school, children are carefully monitored while sleeping, sleep spaces are kept clean and safe, and staff carry out regular checks to ensure children are comfortable and well. We also work closely with families to understand each child's individual sleep needs and routines.

We know that good communication between home and pre-school helps us provide the safest care possible. Parents can support safe sleep by sharing any changes to their child's sleep patterns, health, medications, or routines and by following recommended safe sleep guidance at home.

By working together, we can help ensure every child enjoys safe, restful sleep and wakes up ready to learn, play, and explore.

Pirate Adventures at Bailey House!

This week, we had a wonderful visit with our favourite residents and staff at Bailey House as we continued our exciting learning about pirates!

Together, we got creative and made our very own pirate flags, shared pirate stories, and used pirate toys to make up imaginative tales and adventures. The children also enjoyed decorating their own pirate pictures, proudly showing off their artistic skills and creativity.

It was lovely to see the children and residents spending quality time together, sharing smiles, laughter, and stories. These special visits help to build confidence, communication skills, imagination, and meaningful connections across generations. ❤️

Thank you to everyone at Bailey House for another fantastic morning. We always love visiting and creating special memories together!

🏴‍☠️⚓ Ahoy, Mateys! ⚓🏴‍☠️

Our little pirates have been having a fantastic time exploring all things pirate-themed this week!

During our nature lesson, the children got creative by decorating cardboard tubes to make their very own pirate telescopes 🔭. They used their imaginations to build a pirate den, creating the perfect hideaway for their adventures, and showed great balance and bravery as they took turns to walk the plank!

These activities supported children's creativity, communication skills, teamwork, physical development, and imaginative play whilst having lots of fun outdoors.

We loved seeing the children's excitement as they searched for treasure, spotted distant pirate ships through their telescopes, and embarked on their own pirate adventures!
