Young Lewis is back and looking to make it 2-0 👊🏻

Since February, Lewis has been in the gym 5 days a week, every single week, putting in the graft with double sessions and leaving no stone unturned.

His debut last time out was an absolute stormer and arguably fight of the night 🔥
This time, Lewis faces High Nicholas from England, setting up a brilliant old-school Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 vs England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 scrap!🥊

👏🏻Final Fun Day Appreciation Post👏🏻

A massive thank you to Amar (Who refused to get a picture for us 🤣) from the local Netherburn store for stepping in at the very last minute and saving the day! 🙌🏻

Unfortunately, we were let down by our food and drink provider on the morning of the Fun Day, but Amar didn’t hesitate to help. He kindly donated hundreds of bottles of juice, water, crisps, sweets and much more, completely free of charge! ❤️

It was an incredibly generous gesture, and it meant we could still make sure all the kids and families had plenty of refreshments throughout the day.

We genuinely can’t thank you enough, Amar. Your generosity and support for the local community means so much to us. What a legend! 👏🏻

Another massive thank you to the old Netherburn Hall Committee who had saved an extra £800 through previous years of fundraising, and kindly donated it towards a climbing wall for the kids on our community summer fun day.

Thank you to Dawn McAllister & Stacey Hamilton for organising the bonus ball which helped raise these funds. Also a massive thank you to every single person from the community who helped contribute financially via the bonus ball. Your kind donations helped give the kids a great day before going back to school 🤩☀️

A HUGE thank you to our Summer Fun Day sponsor — Jarvis Land Services! 🌞

We wanted to take a moment to give a very special mention and show our appreciation to Jarvis Land Services, a fantastic local Netherburn business run by Del & Fiona Jarvis. ❤️

As far as I’m aware, Del & Fiona have always been huge supporters of the Summer Fun Days, even before Rivals Gym took over the organisation. So, when they heard that we were raising funds to help keep the Summer Fun Day going this year, Del got in touch and asked me to meet him at the gym. What happened next genuinely blew me away…

That very same day, Del handed over an incredible £1,000 donation! 😲👏

That kind of generosity is absolutely amazing, and it made a huge difference to what turned out to be such a fantastic day for the community. Without the support of local businesses and people like Del & Fiona, events like this simply wouldn’t be possible.

It’s not just the donation itself, it’s the willingness to give back, support the community and help create something positive for local families that deserves recognition. 🙌
