This morning the children in toddlers have loved exploring the under the sea water play. The children enjoyed looking at all the different sea creatures and also finding lots of different textured shells. The children also explored a variety of under the sea themed sensory bottles filled with shells, seaweed,water, crystals, coloured rice and shells. Toddlers also enjoyed exploring numbers within their environment with objects relating to under the sea and wooden discs with all the different sea creatures on where some of the children matched the sea creatures to the wooden discs.

This morning two of our toddlers came in with a dinosaur t shirt on and another one of our toddlers came in with a dinosaur soft toy. So this morning Toddlers have had lots of fun exploring with lots of different dinosaurs. The children enjoyed matching dinosaur footprints, finding different coloured dinosaurs in the water and getting messy in the dinosaur swamp!

Our Teddy Tombola is back and we need your help! 🐻

We’re getting ready for another brilliant Teddy Tombola at our Pendleside Hospice Community Day, and we’re looking for donations of clean, good-quality teddy bears to help make the stall a huge success.

If you have any cuddly companions that are ready for a new adventure, please bring your teddy donations to Pendleside Hospice by Monday 3rd August.

Whether you donate a teddy or simply come along to enjoy the day, we’d love to see you at our Community Day on Sunday 9th August, 1pm–4pm for an afternoon packed with family fun, including:
