🌟 Getting Ready for Our New Year 7s! 🌟

There's a lot happening behind the scenes as we prepare to welcome our new Year 7 students in September, and Mrs Ford along with all the Year 7 staff have been working incredibly hard to make sure every child has the very best start to secondary school. 💙

From getting to know students and liaising with primary schools, to planning transition activities and ensuring the right support is in place, every decision is being made with our new Year 7s in mind.
We know that starting secondary school is a huge milestone, filled with excitement, nerves, and new opportunities.

Our goal is simple: for every child to walk through our doors in September feeling happy, prepared, and excited for the journey ahead. 🚀📚

Free School Meals are changing from September 2026. 🚨

As a parent or carer, you may need to re-apply for the 2026/27 school year — even if your child already receives Free School Meals.

It only takes a few minutes to check, and applying could save your family up to £500 per child each year while helping make sure your child has a healthy lunch ready for the new school year.

Please apply early so everything is in place before September 2026.
