🌧️💨 What a wet and windy week we've had at Woodlands Nursery!
We've thoroughly enjoyed getting suited up in our waterproofs and exploring our sensory tuff trays both outdoors and indoors. The children have embraced the weather and loved discovering new textures, colours and experiences through their play.
🦕 Dinosaurs have been a huge hit this week, especially our volcano-themed shaving foam tuff tray activity! The children had great fun exploring, creating and using their imaginations as they brought the prehistoric world to life.

What an amazing half term we’ve had here at Woodlands Nursery! ☀️🌿
We’ve made the most of the beautiful sunshine and heatwave with so many exciting adventures and outdoor fun! From our lovely outing into town, exciting water fights, and a fantastic trip to Margam Park, to lots and lots of picnics outside enjoying the fresh air and sunshine — it’s been a week full of smiles, laughter, and happy memories. 🧺💦🌳

This week we’ve been celebrating International Bee Day 🐝 and Outdoor Classroom Day 🌳 with lots of exciting activities and outdoor adventures.
The children have been learning all about the importance of bees to our environment and why it’s so important to look after them. We explored how bees help flowers and plants grow and talked about ways we can protect them in our gardens and outdoor spaces. 🌼🐝
We’ve enjoyed picnics outside in the sunshine, explored nature in the garden, and made the most of the fresh air together. Come rain or shine, we’ve had so much fun learning and playing outdoors! 🌦️💚
