Trudie has truly excelled in creating enriching play experiences that allow the children to explore various cultures, ethnicities, abilities, and religions. The home corner beautifully showcases Chinese culture, complete with noodles, rice, and chopsticks for imaginative play. In the play dough activity, the children get to experience an Italian theme, engaging their senses while learning about the origins of pasta, not just where to find it. The arts and crafts section is filled with flag-making activities, encouraging children to express their creativity. Moreover, discussions about fun facts from different countries enhance their knowledge, further promoting the value of equality and diversity.

Today in Woodlands, we celebrated the vibrant Hawaiian culture. We offered a variety of engaging activities for the children, including sensory tuff trays, tipping and pouring exercises, weights and measures, and hand-eye coordination games, all designed to encourage concentration and, most importantly, fun. The children had the chance to explore their taste buds by sampling fruits from our platters π. This activity also fostered their independence as they created their own fruit kebabs.
