Croeso Childminding

We’re feeling incredibly grateful! Thanks to the Oliver steeper foundation our childcare setting has just received a LifeVac – a life saving device designed to help in choking emergencies.

The safety and wellbeing of the children in our care is always our top priority, and having a LifeVac onsite gives us even more peace of mind. While we hope we never have to use it, it's reassuring to know we're prepared for the unexpected.

A huge thank you to the team at LifeVac and everyone who supports the charity! 💕✨

🌟 A huge shout out to the unsung heroes of the school holidays… the incredible children of childminders! 🌟

While everyone celebrates the amazing work childminders do (and rightly so!) — there’s a group of quiet heroes who don’t always get the credit they deserve.

These amazing kids share their mums and dads every single day — with babies, toddlers, big kids, and everyone in between 👶🧒👧
They open their homes, their toys, their space… and most importantly, their hearts ❤️

🌟 They become bonus siblings, best friends, peacekeepers, entertainers, snack buddies, and cuddle givers 🧸🍪🎨

They show patience when things are noisy 🔊
Kindness when others need a friend 🤝
And flexibility when their routines get shuffled ⏰

They’re the glue that helps hold it all together —
the smiling faces, the helping hands, the big-hearted legends ✨

They often wait quietly while someone else’s needs are met first — coming second more than they should sometimes 🫣 — and still show up with love ❤️

🥰 So here’s to you, my own beautiful children, and all the childminder children out there — the true heroes of the school holidays 💪

Rwyf wedi treulio'r misoedd diwethaf yn gweithio gyda PACEY i gyflawni'r Addewid Cymraeg Aur. Fel lleoliad dwyieithog, mae cynnig y cynnig cymraeg yn bwysig i mi. Mae'r cynnig cymraeg yn ymwneud â darparu gwasanaeth yn Gymraeg heb i rywun ofyn amdano. Mae'r addewid Cymraeg yn ymwneud â hyrwyddo'r iaith a diwylliant Cymraeg. Mae'r iaith Gymraeg yn cael ei chroesawu ac yn cael ei ymgorffori yn dyddiol yn fy lleoliad ac rwy'n falch iawn o fod wedi cyflawni'r wobr hon.

I have spent the last few months working with PACEY to achieve the Gold welsh promise award for my setting. As a bilingual setting providing the active offer is important to me. The active offer is about providing a service in welsh without someone having to ask for it. The welsh promise is about promoting the welsh language and culture. The Welsh language is embraced and embedded into the day to day running of my setting and I am so proud to have achieved this award.
